What is a Mobile Notary Public?
A Mobile Notary Public travels to a client's location to Notarize important documents.
A Notary public is an official appointed by a state government to serve the public as an impartial witness during Notarization. We certify the proper execution of many life-changing documents.
What do I need to have a document Notarized?
A Passport, Driver's License, Government issued ID, or Non Driver Identification card. Must have the individual signature and photograph.
Everyone that needs to sign has to personal appear before the Notary. The document that needs to be notarized should not be blank in content.
What is the difference between an Acknowledgement and a Jurat AKA Oath/Affirmation?
In simple terms, an Acknowledgement is to declare that you have willingly signed a document.
A jurat is used to swear to God or a higher being, that the information in the document's are true.
What kind of documents can and cannot be Notarized?
Real Estate documents, Deeds, Power of Attorney, Wills, Trusts, Parental consent to travel, Advance Directives, Loan Documents and Copy Certification can be notarized.
A notary can not notarize a Birth, Marriage, or Death certificate. Nor make or certify a copy of these certificates.
What hours are Mobile Boutique Notary available?
We are available Monday- Friday 9am-7pm; Saturday 10am-6pm; Closed Sunday
Can a Notary Public refuse to Notarize a document?
YES If the Notary believes that the individual signing the document is not competent or has the capacity to execute the record.
If the individual signature is not knowingly and voluntarily made.
The signer cannot be identified with ID.
Can you Notarize a legal document such as a Birth Certificate?
No a Notary cannot Notarize a Birth, Death or Marriage Certificate.
Nor can we Certify a copy to any of these documents.
Is your Notary Public an Attorney or can they provide legal advice?
